Stump Grinding
Greenfingers also specialises in the removal of tree stumps. Stump grinding is the most effective way to remove unwanted stumps and roots.
We are able to remove stumps of any size and quantity. The machine we use has a cutting wheel which spins at high speed and planes through wood and soil until the stump and surrounding roots have been completely removed. Once the root and stump has been removed we backfill the remaining hole with wood chippings and soil with minimal disturbance to the surrounding area.
Unremoved tree stumps can make a garden look unfinished and can lead to problems such as fungus, which can spread to surrounding healthy trees.
